Abstract:
The principle of the P-N junction diode, the parametric Zener, tunnel and the four-layer diodes; the high voltage and controlled rectifiers; and the drift and field-effect transistors are described. Of the energy interaction devices, the general nature and typical field applications of the photoelectric and thermoelectric devices are mentioned.
