Abstract:

A total of 577 animals including 325 cattles and 252 buffaloes were examined at random intervals for the study of helminth parasites during a period of 09 months. Helminths including setaria cervi, Cotylophoron cotylophorum, Paramphistomum cervi and hydatid cyst of Echiococcus granulosus, were frequently recovered both from cattle and buffalo slaughtered at Hyderabad slaughter houses.
