Abstract:
Volume increment in Chir pine Guzara Forests of Haripur Forest Division was found to vary from 15% in 18 cms.d.bh. class to 1% in 98 cms. class with an average of 2%. Due to poor stocking of these forests only a part of the increment will be available for harvesting. The only way making a significant increase in stocking is through concentrated regeneration.
