Abstract:

The effect of Matricaria Chamomilla (M.Ch.) (a medicinal plant) on healing process of inflammatory lesions was tested on experimental animals. Formalin induced inflammatory lesions in hamster cheek pouch were injected with solutions containing variable concentrations of M. Ch. Healing process of the lesions was more obvious in the treated animals than in the control animals at the periods of examination.
