Abstract:
Twenty six stands around Chiltan were sampled quantitatively and sociological relationship among the leading dominant species were discussed. Basic vegetational data was subjected to the multivariate analysis. A two dimensional vegetational ordination shows five main groups. (1) Artemisia maritima. (2) Chrysopogon aucheri, (3) Salvia cabulica, (4) Sophora mollis, (5) Juniperus polycarpos. It is shown that both community and multivariate analysis are necessary to understand vegetational ecology of an area.
