Abstract:

'The problems like residues, casting porosity, health hazards etc.,. has been considered in relation to use of lubricants for the production of die casting. Attempt has been made to study suitable compositions for die lubricants keeping in view the growing advancement in automation. Simple and economical preparations have been recommended as die lubricants based on results of experimental studies on die cast components. Aluminum and Zinc alloys have been used throughout this study.
