Abstract:

The total phenolic compounds of neem leaves and seeds were extracted and estimated quantitatively as chlorogenic acid. A significant difference in the phenolic concentration of pre and post-flowering leaves were recorded. Leaves contained comparatively more phenolic contents than the seeds and location showed significant effect on the phenolic concentration of the plant parts.
