Abstract:
Flower and pedicel of C. capsularis and C. olitorius became elongated and attained two to three times the normal size. All floral parts namely sepals, petals, stamens and carpels were wholly or partially modified into leafy structures. Some olitorius flowers exhibited extremely reduced petals, stamens and ovaries. Ovules were mostly absent in both the cases. Fruits in capsularis were cylindrical or elongated with a broad apex and in olitorius it was more or less normal in appearance. In both cases the fruits were without any viable seeds.
