A coenocytic filamantous alga associated with other microfossil flora from Bara Formation (Lower Eocene) coal deposits, district Thatta, Sindh.

Abstract:
Occurrence of Vaucheria longicaulis var. bamica Leghari et al., var. nov., Monocolporate sondensis Leghari et al. sp. nov., Schizosporis reticulatus and other fossil spores from Sonda Coal field of Distt: Thatta, Sindh, Pakistan are being reported. Twenty floral species including one algal filament, one fungal spore, one spore of bryophyte and spores of other plant sources have been described.
