Abstract:
Sixteen patients aged 3 days to 5 months are included in this study of cardiac catheterization proven cases of TAPVC in order to validate 2-D Echo-cardiographic imaging in this condition. It is shown that 2-D Echocardiography provides detailed anatomic imaging of CPVC and its afferent and efferent connections in various types of TAPVC. The sensitivity of echo diagnosis largely depends upon the skill and knowledge of the echocardiographer.
