Abstract:
The solid waste handling includes collection and transportation, quantity and quality of the waste, humidity and energy content, availability of land, market conditions for waste generated products and availability of skilled people. Different aspects involved in waste incineration are detailed which account for recycling, composting, RDF- production, pyrolysis, mass burning, plant size, lay-out equipment, mass burning furnace grate, combustion air, residue, heat recovery boiler, gas cleaning and waste quality.
