Abstract:
Vitamin D deficiency has become a global threat to the population especially vulnerable such as pregnant women. The human body requires sunlight to produce a substantial amount of vitamin D in the body. Multi social cultural and economic status are determinants that have been identified that limit the dietary intake of vitamins, which is important for preventing chronic diseases and is also essential for pregnant women for developing a fetus.
