Abstract:
With the rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, ensuring robust cybersecurity has become paramount. This talk provides an overview to enhance cyber-security for IoT devices, addressing the evolving challenges and threats in this dynamic landscape. Cyber- security for IoT devices needs to integrate multiple layers of security measures, encompassing both hardware and software aspects of IoT devices. The hardware layer includes the development of secure microcontrollers, cryptographic modules, and tamper-resistant components to fortify the physical integrity of the devices. On the software front, advanced encryption algorithms, secure key management, and intrusion detection systems are implemented to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of data exchanged between IoT devices.
