Taxonomic study of the genus Phacus Dujardin (Euglenophyta) from Lahore and Sialkot districts of Pakistan.

Abstract:
Specimens of the genus Phacus Dujardin were collected from various freshwater habitats of Lahore and Sialkot Districts in the Punjab Province of Pakistan during March-September 2003. They were taxonomically investigated and found to belong to six species.
