Abstract:
TB is a disease of suffering. In case of rural incidences all available resources should be directed to its alleviation by conservative hospitalization with adequate and immediate financial aid to dependent families. The use of mobile mass radiography is required to detect early disease by examining populations, particularly areas of high incidence. By the time symptoms of TB appear, the disease is already advanced. This applies particularly to blacks. Late and advanced presentation of TB remains a major problem.
