Abstract:
19 cases with anicteric liver disease are presented. The underlying pathology ranged from acute hepatitis to cirrhosis. None had amoebic infection. Many had previous history of jaundice indicating viral hepatitis being responsible for many of these conditions. The importance of proper investigation is stressed.
