Abstract:
Studies of thickness and facies variation trends of molasse sediments of the Sibi re-entrant are of considerable help in understanding the geological history, tectonic zonation, and certain problems relating to oil and gas exploration in the northern part of the Lower Indus Basin. The results and conclusions discussed are based on the data collected after the examination of more than thirty field sections and their correlation.
