Abstract:
A critical assessment of the situation in fresh-water species of Rhizoclonium (Chlorophyta) has been made. The work is based on the herbarium and the cultural studies. This monograph covers the taxonomy, morphology, geography, ecology and cytology of R. hieroglyphicum. R. crassipellitum, R. giganteum, R. sulfuratum, R. lapponicum and R. fontanum.
