Abstract:
The importance of quantitative bacteriological examination of urine for the diagnosis of urinary tract infection has been stressed. One hundred and fifty five different specimens of urine were examined both by the T.T.C. test and by the quantitative culture simultaneously and the results were compared and the findings have been presented. The value of the T.T.C. test in the diagnosis of significant bacteriuria has been discussed.
