An addition to the copepod fauna of the Punjab.

Abstract:
The following species though already described are being recorded for the first time from Punjab, Pakistan. A. Calanoida. 1. Diaptomus trybomi Lilljeborg. 2. Diaptomus gracilis Sars. B. Cyclopoida. Eucyclops speratus Lilljeborg, Mesocyclops hyalinus Rehberg, Cyclops (Diacyclops) bicuspidatus Claus, Cyclops (Megacyclops) magnus Marsh, Mesocyclops inversus Kiefer, and Tropocyclops prasinus mexicanus Kiefer. Mesocyclops forbesi, Mahoon & Nisa. The above mentioned species after having been thoroughly examined are being described as new. Cyclops (Diacyclops) jurenei sp. nov: cyclops (Diacyclops) landei richardi Sub. sp. nov.
