Abstract:

Various parameters for the cultivation of Sapium sebiferum (N. O. Euphorbiaceae) have been studied. It is observed that best sowing time is February to March and July to August. It usually flowers after three years and fruits ripen from August to November. The botany of the plant and the main constituents of seed oil have also been described.
