Abstract:

10 Taxa of Diatom flora are reported from District Shikarpur (Northern area of Sindh). This includes one from genus Achnanthes, one from Gamphonema, one from Fragilaria, two from genus Synedra, three from Cymbella, one from Amphora and one from Navidula. The collections were made from canals and streams of upper Sindh region during the year 1991-93.
