Two cestodes from rats in Karachi.

Abstract:
There are few reports on the parasites of rats in Pakistan. For the present study, during routine examination and dissection of rats in the classroom, parasite specimens were collected and identified. Two cestodes, Hymenolepis fusa (Krabbe, 1869, Fuhrman 1906) and a Strobilocercus Taenia taeiniformis are described here.
