Abstract:

A simple quick, direct, accurate and sensitive turbidimetric method for the determination of gold (III) 0.05 to 6.27 µ g/ml based on its colour reaction, produced through its reduction by 1-naphthyle-thylenediamine-dihydrochloride has been devised. The working of the method in the presence of 18 foreign ions has also been studied.
