Abstract:
A paper presented at the Cento Scientific Symposium on the 'Role of Science in the development of natural resources', held at Lahore in 1962. A major portion of wood in Pakistan represents as waste in various forms, which can be utilized in a number of marketable by-products. The various sources of the wood waste and their possible utilization, specially in regard to Pakistan are indicated.
