Abstract:
Results of examination 675 stool samples are reported. The sampling was done without purgatives. The most of the persons were asymptomatic. Infestation with commensals was found prevalent in 69.8 percent. Culture techniques were proved to be most reliable especially for Trichomonas hominis, Chilomastix mesnili, and Entameba coli. Figures for children under 16 years were 79% while those of adults only 62%. Gives details of type combina-tions of commensals, frequency of individual non pathogens, statement of singularity/plurality status (pathogens and commensals combined), numeral status of commensals in relation to pathogens, analysis of persons with commensals regarding incident presence of pathogens and association, and combinations of pathogens with commensal protozoa. Compares the results with corresponding findings of various other authors and for various localities of the world.
