Abstract:
Nano-crystalline ceramic materials are synthesized from organic and inorganic precursors using sol-gel processing method and characterized by various techniques. The high surface/interfacial area of nano-powders exhibited dramatic changes in properties. Piezoceramics and magnetic-ceramics are developed indigenously. Characterization is done by using X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and simultaneous thermal analysis (DSC/TG).
