Abstract:

A new species, Lecithocladium thynensis, is described from the fish Thynus sp. of Karachi coast. This is a new host for the genus. The new species is characterised by possessing distinctly striated body, a smooth tail, anteriorly placed small acetabulum, and relatively large body with small eggs.
