Voltammetery of quinocyanomethylene: simulation.

Abstract:
Electrochemical simulation of cyclic voltammogram of quinocyanomethylene in acetonitrile at platinum electrode vas studied. Two share ware programs CVSIM and ESP 2.4 were used and their limitations were described. Mechanism of electrodimerization of quinocyanomethylene was seggested using these programs. One cathodic and one anodic peak were observed. Variation of Linear .sweep voltammetric studies of quinocyanomethlene were also carried our using electrochemical simulations. Two programs were compared under the same conditions. ESP 2.4 took lesser time for simulations than CVSIM.
