Abstract:
The following species of Cladocera are already Known from the Punjab, Pakistan Daphnia pulex Leydig, D. dubia Herrick; Ceriodaphnia megalops Sars. The following species are being recorded for the first time from the Punjab. Latonopsis fasiculata Daddy, Scaphleberts kingi Jars, Ceriodaphnia reticuluta (Jurine), C. acanthina Ross, C. rotunda Sars: Moina rectirostris Leydig and Macrothriz rosea (Jurine). The following species are being recorded as new Pseudosida herricki sp. nov., Daphnia strausi sp. nov. and Lathonnra ovalis sp. nov.
