Abstract:
Examines algae found in water-logged pools, the water of which is chemically different from the water of streams, canals, wells and ponds. The algae was collected from a pool in village Azakhail from November 1974 to March 1975. Six genera and twelve species of cyanopilyceae have been reported. The chemical analysis of water which was done on the sampling dates, shows higher alkalinity, concentration of chlorides and sulphates and presence of ammonia but not No2 and No3.
