Abstract:

There is an extensive research being done on the mobile TV broadcasting standards and policies. The authors research span is around Digital Video Broadcasting Handheld (DVB-H) and Digital Multimedia broadcasting (DMB) to figure out the best out of both standards according to usage in different environments and different parts of the world and to suggest a hybrid solution of both which could be used globally. Since both of these standards have some limitations the authors found that both standards can be used simultaneously and can supplement each other.
