Abstract:
In this study, an effort was made to develop the mechanics for predicting the draft of tillage equipment. The prediction equation thus developed was tested by experimentally measuring the draft forces under different soil and operating conditions The percentage differences between the measured and predicted values of draft varied from 0 112% to 113.57., with a maximum mean value of 217. of the measured values, over the range of data studied.
