Abstract:
In Azad Kashmir, number of termites species decreased with the height of the locality. Above 7000 ft. Archotemopsis wroughtoni was the only termites that was attacking logs of Gymnosperms. Number of plants attacked by termites was not significantly related with the height of the locality. However, correlation between the number of plant species attacked at different heights was negative but significant (r = 0.528; df, 14: P).
