Abstract:

11 species of Ulothrix collected from Pakistan: U. aequalis, U. confervicole, U. idiospora, U. osilliarina, U. shameeld sp. nov., U. subtilissima, U. tenerrimo, U. tenuissima, U. terrestre comb. nov., U. variabilis and U. zonata. The concept of the genus has also been discussed.
