Abstract:

Genetic studies of maroon eye in Clulex pipiens fatigans indicate that the mutant phenotype is under Control of a sex-linked locus approximately 8.8 map units from the sex locus. The mutant is temperature sensitive and is allelic to the maroon mutants isolated from Brazil and the U.S.A.
