Two cases of a system of parallel components with depended variables, one having a bivariate exponential distribution and the other having a bivariate Weibull distribution have been studied. The general expressions of reliability function have been derived. However, the general expression of the mean time to failure has been derived for the first case only. For the second case the mean time to failure has been derived, for simplicity, only for equal shape and scale parameters.
