Abstract:
Quantitative survey of ten important medicinal plants was conducted in Leepa Volley of Jhelum Valley Forest Division in Azad Kashmir, during the year 1978-79 to ascertain the productivity of medicinal plants available in the area. It was found that medicinal plants are available not only in considerable quantities for commercial exploitation but also it is imperative to initiate concerted efforts both by government and public or systematically establish cultivation of various medicinal plants.
