Abstract:
Heavy vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) infextion was present in the roots of Equisetum ramosissimum Desf. Internal fungal hyphae formed coils in the cortical cells. Square shaped arbuscules were also frequently observed. Vesicles were with smooth contents and possessed oil-globules. Variation in the size and shape of vesicles showed the presence of multiple VAM infection.
