Abstract:
Ten genera and 19 species of Sterculiaceae, mostly cultivated, are discussed. Keys to the taxa and descriptions are provided. Following Hutchinson several species have been transferred to Brachyhiton, Fermiana and Pterygota from Sterculia. Correct nomencalature and authority have been adopted in addition to a few new records from the area.
