Abstract:
Zegar model for long binary time series was applied to the data on binary outcome variable generated by assigning ‘I’ and ‘O’ to bleeding and free days recorded within a diary by women using various contraceptive methods. The model gives changes in the bleeding pattern over time by women using these methods. The results of the model suggest strong dependence among the bleeding free days within a diary for women using the various methods. The bleeding pattern for most of the women is affected with the passage of time.
