Abstract:
Five species of the phylum Euglenophyta, belonging to the genera Astasia Dujard., Colacium Egrenb., Euglena Ehrenb. and Phacus Dujard., have been collected from various Freshwater habitats of Libya. They are taxonomically described for the first time from this area.
