Abstract:

Studies on varietal resistance of okra against whitefly, Bemisia tabaci and fruit borer, Earias spp. were carried out at Entomology Section, ARI, Tandojam. Seeds of six varieties viz: Sabzpari, Super green, Noori-786, Sharmeeli, Pusa sawani, and Ambak were sown on April, 19, 2012 ref: in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications. Observations on pest infestation were started in second week of May and continued till harvest of the crop.
