Abstract:
Allelopathic potentialities of aqueous extract of Pennisetum glaucum (whole plant) was investigated on germination and seedling growth of three pulses of Pakistan (Cicer arietinum, Phaseolus vulgaris and Vigna radiata). queous extracts at 5, 10 and 15% had significantly inhibited germination and growth of three test species. The inhibition was generally the function of the extract concentration.
