Abstract:
The-feeding records of Chilomenes sexmaculata Fabr. at different levels of temperature and humidity were studied in the laboratory. The aphid consumption of larval and adult stages of Chilomenes sexmaculata Fabr. at 30° C, 32o C and 34o C was found to be on the same level of significance, but it was of higher value at 30° C. The minimum consumption was observed at 26o C and 28°C. The feeding capacity of this beetle was not greatly affected by various humidities but it-down to its minimum at 73 percent. The relative humidity of 60 percent gave higher value.
