A new simple method for protecting (stored) rice against rice weevil (Stiophilus oryzae).

Abstract:
Barks of eucalyptus, cinnamon and bakayat (Melia azedarach) have been used for protecting rice against rice weevil. The barks act as attractants for the insects due to their peculiar odour. The insects are collected and destroyed by physical means.
