Abstract:
The activity pattern of two types of artificial ice nuclei has been studied. It is found that threshold supersaturation depends upon the nature (composition) of aerosols. Agl-NH41, which are mixed type aerosols have been found to be better ice nucleants than the pure Agl. The CFC has been found to be sensitive to condensation-freezing mode of nucleation for these particles.
