Abstract:
The medicinal plants resources of the two wings of Pakistan have been classified in two categories:(I) from naturally growing resources (II) from cultivation. West Pakistan is richer in varieties of medicinal plants and East Pakistan is potentially richer in quality medicinal plants. A fairly detailed survey for both the wings has been made. A programme of research for development of medicinal plants has also been suggested.
