Abstract:
The monuments of Moenjo Daro, one of the most ancient archaeological finds of human civilization and culture are today threatened with extinction by impregnation of salts. A plan has been presented to protect the monuments from decay by lowering the underground water-table through installation of tubewells on the periphery of the ruins. One tubewell has already been drilled and its pump and motor assembly is in the process of erection.
