Abstract:
The methods described for improving the productivity are better selection and better arrangement practices, such as restricting the calving season so that it may take place at a time of year when maximum benefit is obtained in terms of the cows' milk production and the calfs' growth, culling of cows that breed irregularly, and weaning of calves at 6-8 months.
